Kevin Connor

Kevin Connor learned early that if he wanted to make a hat, he had to wear as many as possible. After spending over a decade performing, culminating in a BFA in Musical Theatre from Boston Conservatory, he moved to New York and asked the essential human question: what’s next?

Shortly thereafter, he joined Hal Luftig’s office as an intern, and his producing career began to take shape. Over the following decade, Kevin worked across nearly every corner of the business: serving as the final Company Manager of Fuerza Bruta, Managing Director of Houses on the Moon Theater Company, a company devoted to amplifying underrepresented voices, and even concessions manager at the Vineyard Theatre, all while continuing his work with Hal. In 2018, he became Hal’s Managing Producer.

His Broadway credits include Kinky Boots, Children of a Lesser God, Plaza Suite, Life of Pi, Here Lies Love, Appropriate, and the revival of Sunset Boulevard, for which he received a Tony Award in 2025 alongside Hal and co-producer Cathy Dantchik.

That same partnership became the foundation for Halcyon Theatricals, which Kevin co-founded with Hal and Cathy in 2026. Halcyon is built around a simple idea: that transparency, kindness, and considered decision-making are not optional in this work; they are the reason to do the work at all. Having experienced the business from a multitude of entry points, Kevin brings a unique perspective to Halcyon, grounded in a core belief in creating space for new voices and bold ideas while supporting the people behind them with genuine care.

Kevin remains a proud Board Member of Houses on the Moon and continues to believe that producing is an act of care, imagination, and persistence: creating the conditions for artists to map out the sky, finish the hat, and finally step back to say: look what we’ve made.
