Cathy Dantchik is a two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer and entrepreneur. whose career spans finance, live entertainment, and nonprofit leadership.

She began her professional career on Wall Street, where she developed a strong foundation in strategic thinking, relationship management, and business leadership. She later founded a premier event management company recognized for producing high-profile theatrical, corporate, and nonprofit events.

More than a decade ago, Cathy founded Reade Street Productions, through which she has championed the development and production of new theatrical works while co-producing numerous critically acclaimed and Tony Award-winning productions in New York, London, and across the United States. Her producing credits include ART, Waiting for Godot, Buena Vista Social Club, Evita (London), Stereophonic, Sunset Boulevard, The Hills of California, Good Night, and Good Luck, and Here Lies Love, among many others.

Throughout her career, Cathy has worked across a wide range of productions, from emerging works to large-scale commercial successes. The common thread in her work is a commitment to exceptional storytelling, artistic specificity, and meaningful creative collaboration. She is driven by the opportunity to inspire audiences, foster connection, and build community through live theater.

Beyond her work as a producer, Cathy serves as Co-Chair of the 52nd Street Project, an organization that brings together children from New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood with professional artists and volunteers to create original works. The organization promotes creativity, confidence, academic achievement, and long-term mentoring relationships.

In 2026, Cathy co-founded Halcyon Theatricals alongside Hal Luftig and Kevin Connor.
